Monday
A client and I did the 100 Workout last night. It was okay, but not something I would do on a regular basis. I will say, it's a good workout if you are short on time and need to get a decent workout in. If you are looking to really break a sweat, this isn't the workout to do. I would, however, recommend it to those who are just starting a workout program. You do not need any workout equipment, just a towel/mat, a bottle of water and you're set to go. Give this workout a try and let me know how you do.
Tuesday
Today's Morning Workout was a barbell workout. I wanted to challenge my client to something different yet still using weights. Below is what we did this morning:
Warm-Up: Walk on Treadmill 15 min
V-ups on the Bosu Trainer 5 x 10
Standing Barbell Curls
Walking Lunges
Standing Barbell Tricep Overhead Extensions
Lying Barbell Close Grip Presses/Superset w/wide grip presses
Side to Side Hops Over Bench
Seated Barbell Shoulder Presses
V-Ups on Basu Trainer
Client finished with 20 minutes on Elliptical.
This was a great workout and something we had not done before. She is really starting to see results and so I wanted to challenge her with something she had not done before.
What workouts have you done this week? Have you worked out? Are you on track for your upcoming races?
